So I pretty much remember having Orbit gum in the past, for some reason I was under the impression and remembered hating the shit out of them. They were small, their flavour was pathetic and it didn't last.. Strangely as I've recently found after receiving Orbit by chance I seem to be finding that I was wrong, what the hell? From what I remember, these gums were like I said not great but still.. They're not as I remember them at all.. In the interest of fairness and a new-found respect for the brand, I'm going to review them.. Perhaps re-review them? I can't recall or be bothered to check if I've bothered to review them before in the past, either way;
Orbit Strawberry Remix: In their 'Remix' line which seems to all be fruit-flavoured, this is the first gum I received so we're going to go ahead and go with this one. I know the first flavour is strawberry, durh.. I'm not sure if there's anything else, it's called 'Strawberry Remix' so I have to assume that there's supposed to be some other flavour there but frankly I can't place it if there is and I don't really care if there is, the important thing is that the strawberry flavour is actually pretty strong and.. Contrary to what I remember, it actually lasts. I don't remember these lasting or tasting so well in the past but surprisingly this gum does. It actually stands better to prolonged chewing than some of my favorite gums from Wrigley's, the brand I've predominately reviewed in the past.. Better than most of them, again.. What the hell? At any rate in spite of what I remember and felt, I was wrong.. Orbit is good, it's almost better than any other.. The strawberry flavour starts off strong and doesn't fade quickly, it lasts and lasts a good long time, am I going to give these a seal of approval? I'm almost ashamed to say and feel as if I've betrayed myself somehow but.. Yes, yes I am. Try this, it's very good gum worth getting.
Orbit Tropical Remix: This one's got a butt-fuck of tropical flavours, I remember hating this stuff with a passion but when I was given it as disappointed as I was, I resigned myself to chewing it.. God.. Damn.. It.. This stuff is GREAT, it's better than the strawberry which just screws my mind straight to hell because I know I hated this stuff less than a month ago, I detested it and the flavour didn't last, the sticks seemed smaller and the gum as a whole just seemed to suck but it doesn't. It boggles the mind! I don't know exactly what flavours are in this but I taste orange, pineapple and kiwi off the top of my head and it's wonderful, it's like you're chewing a smoothie and it's absolutely heavenly. This stuff gets more of an approval than the strawberry, how they managed to pack such huge juicy flavour in these tiny things is beyond me. Fuck it, though.. Maybe they kidnapped Wrigley's uh.. Kidnapped Oompa Loompa's.. Can you kidnap something that's already been kidnapped or is that like a double-negative? Fuck me..
Moving right along I'm brought to mentioning a dinner I cooked not too long ago, I was interested in trying a dish I'd never done before and thought would be fun to try my own iteration at it, it's called "Oyakodan" ( "Parent and child Donburi", Donburi being a rice-bowl dish. ) interestingly although I deviated a little from the usual way this is cooked, it came out flawlessly. Among the unique touches I put on this dish were the fact that I sweetened the rice with, well.. Uh.. Sweetener, typically the rice is left plain and simply steamed but I steamed some sweetener in with it to make it.. Durh.. Sweeter.. Fucking redundancy.. I also cooked the chicken and eggs with a mixture not only of soy and ginger but also with a little bit of Sake and Coconut Rum, deciding the unique taste of coconut may lend something to the dish. It was then topped by cuts of asparagus and some chow-mein noodles for garnishment.. They weren't really needed but they looked pretty to me so bite me. Of course on the side is the Ume no raisu purin ( Plum Rice Pudding ) and an Anpan I usually cook, the Anpan filled not only with Anko ( Red Bean Paste ) but also with a lemon poppy mix and topped by some maple-syrup to give it a little more of a breakfast taste. Maple-syrup, ey? And happily there were no complaints, in fact compliments were given by James for this meal. I did taste-test it and frankly by what I could tell it was motherfucking beyond delicious. How he manages to show so little enthusiasm, I'll never know. Nevertheless, I got more than I do on average in feedback so he clearly enjoyed it and for that I am proud.

Anyways, back on topic; I don't think you posted about those before on here yet though lack of sleep is affecting my memory.
Yay for a product overhaul going well for once! xD
I mostly chew grape Bubblicious though. =x
I forget, for sweetener, do you use Splenda?
I used to HATE rice... the past year I've come to love it... It's weird. e_e
Sake + Rum = Two of my fav forms of alcohol~ :B
<3 Asparagus~
Is it weird that I prefer fake Maple-syrup to the real stuff? (It's probably better that way though, it's cheaper lol)
