Awesome, freaky or just plain strange there are many things we've seen and will see, there are many things I'd like to see.. For instance..
Fortified for Sight Beyond Sight! Though I doubt we'll ever see Lion-O's sadly, nevertheless we'll touch upon awesome now as we abruptly segue to our first Sensational Snack!
New Jell-O Pudding Snacks:
Oh sweet unbelievably awesome Jell-O, this is epic. Purely goddamn epic. These are already in stores now and I want to try them so fucking bad, these are not your average Jell-O Pudding, they're dual layered deliciousness sporting two flavours above as you see, S'mores and Strawberry Sundae. Oh my fucking god.
With the S'mores of course it sports a top layer of Marshmallow Creme and a bottom level of what I assume is Chocolate Pudding but I'd assume or expect and hope for at least some little chunks of Graham Cracker perhaps mixed in? Who knows, I'll have to wait until I can actually try these if I ever get the chance to see what's actually in them. I do hope I get the chance to review these, I really do.. As for the Strawberry Sundae?
I'm unsure what to think about this, it certainly seems like the Strawberry Sundae is a very slimy sort of gel Strawberry Slime topping what I can assume to be either Strawberry Pudding or perhaps even Vanilla Pudding? I'd think Vanilla Pudding would be better to accompany this Strawberry Slime, that's rather fun in and of itself to say and think about.. Strawberry Slime..
Indeed however these are epic, Jell-O has proven they do indeed still Jell-Own from time to time, this is an epic offering that I can only believe would taste and be amazing.
Cadbury Picnic:
This is an epic Chocolate Bar, a Chocolate Bar that was first introduced in the U.K in 1958 it is and was a Chocolate Bar consisting of epic win all across the board, Milk Chocolate and Peanuts, covering chewy Nougat, Caramel, Biscuit and Puffed Rice. The U.K version also differed in that it contained Raisins. Could you get any more win than this bar?
It's a mess of beautiful wonderful decadence that is held together by delicious Nougat, Caramel and Chocolate.. The only thing that would make this better is if they pumped a little Coconut and Peanut Butter into the bar and then I might forsake all in this world and commit a joyful ritualistic suicide after having one because at that point I will have reached the epitome of enjoyment in life and I know everything from that moment on would be simply down-hill.
What's even more wonderful about these is they're not discontinued, you can still find them.. Just.. Not often in the U.S sadly, they're extremely rare if you can find them at all which is sad for me but good for the rest of the world.. I hate this freakin' Country sometimes, I really do.
This bar? 9/10 Big Cat Paws, this shit is amazing.
Welch's Jelly Donuts:
Another blast from the past, these are Welch's Jelly Donuts from the 1970s and they came amazingly enough frozen, they were also quite amazing in and of themselves. Whether you ate them frozen or warmed them up two things were for certain.. One was that they were decadently delicious and two was that if you warmed them up forsake all hope of your taste-buds surviving the encounter because not even the innards of a freshly toasted Pop-Tart could touch the lava-like slime in center of these bastards once they were warmed up.
The advertisement in many papers for these read;
"Remember those donuts you'd get fresh and warm from the bake shop on Sunday mornings... good glazed donuts and donuts bursting with real grape or apple-raspberry jelly? Well someone at Welch's got hungry for those kinds of donuts. Because now Welch's has them ready for you to bake up warm and fresh in just minutes. Look for Welch's Donuts in your grocer's freezer. You'll see, they bring back memories."Oh yes, they were quite yummy. Grape or Apple-Raspberry flavoured I can't figure out why they were ever discontinued, why would Welch's stop making these magnificent morsels? Who knows..
9.4/10 Big Cat Paws
Wish they were still around.
Dinner:
Wow tonight's dinner turned out GREAT, I mean way better than usual and I was worried because I was cooking big honking balls of meat and they tend not to stay together or to cook very well.
Tonight's dish is Kushi nikudanshi (Skewered Meat Balls) and is a Japanese meat version of Dango cooked to perfection and then topped by a special Japanese soy base sweet and sour sauce (home-made) - It's sides are steamed rice and a delicious Sweetened Anpan (Sweet Roll)
