I've had one like it in the past or at least a candy like it in the past and I can say that candy was awesome and the fact that Pop Rocks has introduced an ACTUAL CHOCOLATE BAR makes me desire this like no ones business and it's cruel and unusual for fate and this company to subject me to such complete torture!
I love Pop Rocks because they're a fucked up candy that if you chew sticks in your teeth causing your

Devil's Food Twinkie:
Oh and how devilishly good these were. These were rare Devil's Food Twinkies which were introduced in 1971 and of which very few photographs or packages remain and they ran surprisingly enough although rarely through the late 80s and were available even then (I know from experience) though they were eventually discontinued.
Imagine if you will a delicious Devil's Food Cake kept moist by the decadent creme filling inside which oozes out with the first bite, spreading and gooing everywhere.. Oh yes.. That's quite a nice thing to imagine and it was quite a nice thing to taste. These were superior to the normal Twinkie though not the original recipe Twinkie which was actually filled with Banana Creme as opposed to boring ass Vanilla and in recent years the closest they've come to recreating this is Chocolate Creme filled Twinkies which were pretty damn delicious on their own.
I needs me some Devil's Food Twinkies. You know Hostess is suffering a bankruptcy right now, quick fix? Re release Devil's Food Twinkies and rake in the dough! I'd buy the fuckers in a heart beat.
Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake Rolls:
Oh yes yes, more cakey goodness. Why do I, someone athletically inclined have such an unnatural and masochistic love affair with snack cakes? I never get the damn things, that might be why.. If I got a box once in a blue moon for myself and just snarfed on them I imagine I wouldn't feel so strongly pulled towards them but I am, all that is holy help me, I am.
Little Debbie's offered some pretty bad ass and delicious cakes in the past but the Strawberry Shortcake Roll is something special and it's something I haven't had in
years, I miss it and I crave it every now and then. Oh fuck me do I ever crave it.
That moist and delightful sponge cake, the creme icing which is just so sweet and scrumptious and the addicting thick and flavourful Strawberry Jelly? OH FUCK YESS! Gods and these frozen are INSANE, hell these are even amazing
heated up which is a rare thing for me to do to
anything, even things meant to be heated up! These things are definitely insanely good, they're addicting as all fuck and man.. I crave them.. Do I ever crave them..
Dinner:
Little better of a day so far today, not by much but at least by a bit.. Tonight's dinner was Samonsuteki (Salmon Steak) and is pretty simple.. A single Salmon Steak which has been seasoned over night with Japanese herbs and spices, cooked to perfection in a pan with slight searing on the top, two pan fried mushrooms, and steamed rice all topped by a Japanese Tartar (home made) with a side of a Double Chocolate Chocolate Chip Anpan (Sweet Roll)
Frankly I think it came out beautifully and James seemed to quite enjoy it. Rock on.
You know that they sell those strawberry shortcakes individually, right? You should be able to find them at a gas station or convenience store. And damn, they are fucking delicious!
ReplyDeleteThe Pop Rocks candy bar was good as well. I only tried it once, and haven't thought about it or have seen one since. The bars almost taste like they are carbonated(if that makes any sense). But they were really good. I don't know if they were discontinued, or are just rare.
