Retro Tie-In Cereals 4

NOTE: We're using the term 'retro' rather broadly for this article.

Okay let me note by saying I'm not exactly your normal adult if you haven't already been able to tell that assuming you visit my blog regularly and read the shit I write about. I'm a kid at heart, hell.. Not even at heart.. I'm pretty sure my Martial Arts are defying age itself and keeping me a kid at Body, Mind, Heart and Spirit because I don't give a shit what other people say when I go to a store and buy kids toothpaste for myself or go gaga over something because it's Disney Princess or some shit like that. They think it's stupid? Fuck 'em, Disney Princesses are awesome and screw anyone that thinks otherwise. Sure a few of them are a little contrived and a little insulting from time to time but still.. Bite me.. I likes them..

I still watch cartoons regularly, not just Anime but cartoons, I like cartoons. If I wanted to watch something 'grown up' and depressing I'd just watch the damn news. The news is full of nothing but depressing shit that brings me down so when I have the choice? I'd rather watch something that's an upper, I want to see someone violently impact a cliff-face because the dumb motherfucker rode on a rocket and rockets don't have brakes.. Come to think of it, why'd he goddamn strap himself to the thing?! Did he just want to die?

...It's true though..

Anyway back onto the subject of kids stuff because this brings us to our products for this little march down memory lane, what products are they? Our first is *drumroll*;

Disney Princess Cereal:
Aaaha! And you thought I mentioned Disney Princesses because I'm riddled with ADHD and can't keep focused for a goddamn moment, didn't you?! Well you're wrong! WRONG! You lose! Good day, Sir! (or Ma'am)

Disney Princess Cereal was introduced in 2004 and was a cereal from Kellogg's which I shamelessly attached to because.. Honestly.. Look at it! It's so many colours my head is spinning and it has Marshmallows, fucking marshmallows. Colour?! Mallows?! Princesses?! YES!

Disney Princess Cereal was one of the few and coveted Strawberry Flavoured Cereals which exist in such rarity that well.. When I find one I can't believe it.. Purple and Pink/Red hearts made up the Grain body of this cereal and the Marshmallows awesomely were shaped like Wands, Roses, Crowns and Castles.

Of course as a children's cereal or a cereal that was marketed towards and for kids this was a very sweet cereal, tooth-achingly so but not in a bad way like so many before it. This was a lot like Berry Berry Kix (1992) which was and is an awesomely delicious cereal with the exception of having the awesome and epic addition of goddamn Marshmallows. Awesome, truly awesome.. Yet sadly this cereal was a Limited Edition cereal that was to be discontinued, I guess they didn't expect to be able to consistently sell Disney Princess Cereal but I myself and many other young girls I know would have bought this shit without a second thought with a very intense loyalty if they just continued.. Sad that they didn't..

This stuff was delicious.. Positively perfect..

In 2007 the Princesses got another cereal except.. It wasn't very good..

Sadly Princess Gems Cereal was just a low-quality Lucky Charms knock-off, I had it once and never looked back. Definitely wasn't the magical or tasty experience that the first Princess Cereal was.

Buzz Blasts:
Here's another cereal that was marketed for and towards the kids that I gladly bought, it was marketed of course towards boys but as I've displayed in the past I care little about what gender the product was meant for by the marketing department and more that the product amuse and draw me towards it like some sort of freak magnet.

Introduced in 2002 this was another offering for Kellogg's, awesome multi-coloured green and purple Graham Cereal pieces which tasted amazing, I myself love Graham flavoured things and this cereal was no exception.. Furthermore you know what this shit did? It turned the milk fucking green and purple, yes.. GREEN AND PURPLE!

I can see the LGM's standing there going "Mooooo! Space Cow Juice! OoOOoOOOooO!", this stuff was delicious and is another example of pure win by Disney. It's sad that this is another that was discontinued, destined only to exist for the shortest period of time before being forgotten to the vastness of time..

If Disney/Kellogg's were to start selling this again trust me.. I'd head straight to the store for some.. The store and beyond..

Dinner:
Dinner tonight for James was Ajia no Mitoborusandoitchi (Asian Meatball Sandwich) and is a sandwich made with two beautifully Oven Toasted slices, two beautifully pan-cooked Meatballs which have been done in a wonderfully Sweet Asian Red Sauce (home-made) and rested on a Savoury Yellow Sauce with a side of a Cheese Anpan (Sweet Roll)

Rock on. Came out very nicely.
